The 39th International Manufacturing Conference

24th - 25th August 2023

IMC39

Smart Manufacturing: The Next Generation

IMC39 - Conference overview

IMC39 will provide a forum for professionals from academia, industry and government to network on major developments in manufacturing engineering research and education. The theme for this year's conference is "Smart Manufacturing: The Next Generation" however, the scope of the conference is extended to cover all aspects or manufacturing research and education.

To facilitate those travelling long distances, we are hosting a flipped conference schedule on the 24th and 25th August. Starting with a technical session at 3pm on the 24th August followed by city walking tours/social networking event and a conference banquet that evening. The plenary sessions will begin at 10am on the 25th August, followed by technical sessions until 4pm.

The IMC membership is unique in its affiliation of academics involved in manufacturing engineering education and research from Universities, Colleges and Research Centres throughout the island of Ireland.

Proudly hosted by Ulster University, Magee Campus (School of Computing, Engineering, and Intelligent Systems and School of Engineering),
